Moli

Open-source (Apache-2.0) headless browser built in Rust for AI agents, from Lexmount. It runs real JavaScript and the DOM but only does layout and screenshots when you ask, so page fetching and extraction stay fast and light. One binary serves CDP, WebDriver Classic and WebDriver BiDi (Playwright connects directly), and the CLI dumps pages as Markdown, JSON or a compact semantic tree for models. Runs on Linux, macOS and Windows; Lexmount also offers hosted Moli sessions in its Cloud Browser.

Best for

Let an agent use a web browser

▸ A lightweight, self-hosted alternative to headless Chrome: no separate browser install, and Playwright or Selenium can drive it as-is.

Give your agent live web search and data

▸ Fetch any page as clean Markdown or a model-friendly semantic tree in one command, so your agent reads the web without the bloat.
